Access to UJI Campus
From Narita International Airport (NRT)
Take “Narita Express” from JR Narita Airport station to Shinagawa (about 70 min.) and transfer to “Tokaido Shinkansen” for Kyoto (about 130 min. by Nozomi Super-Express). From Kyoto, transfer to JR Nara line. It takes about 20 min. from Kyoto to Obaku station.
From Haneda International Airport (HND)
Take “Keikyu Line” to Shinagawa (about 15 min.). Then transfer to “Tokaido Shinkansen”. Then follow the instruction in 1).
From Kansai International Airport (KIX)
Take JR express “Haruka” to Kyoto (about 75 min.). From Kyoto, transfer to JR Nara line. It takes about 20 min. from Kyoto to Obaku station.
Accomodation
Except for invited overseas speakers, the organizers do NOT arrange participants’ accommodation. There is no accommodation within a short walking distance from the venue. At Uji station (1 station to the south), there are several hotels. Many accommodations with a variety of choices are available in downtown Kyoto. We recommend participants to make reservation as soon as possible because Kyoto is full of tourist throughout the year.
