PROFILE
Research themes : Research on earthquakes, volcanoes and tectonics on the basis of geodetic works
Research on forecast of crustal activity with numerical simulations
Evaluation of movements of active faults in SW Japan with GPS surveys
(Comments)
The final goal of my research is to develop a curstal activity forecasting model. Things to do will be,
(1) to develop numerical forecasting tools,
(2) to know geometrical and kinematic parameters as well as material properties
(3) to understand the limitation of the method on the basis of the best knowledge.
Aiming to the goal I am conducting the above three kinds of researches.
Understanding the limitation of our knowledge, I would like to think about how the earthquake science can collaborate the society.
